EAST Perth and Swan Districts scored their first wins of the 2016 McDonald's WAFL Premiership Season in Round 4 on the weekend while Subiaco stayed unbeaten and East Fremantle was impressive against last year's grand finalist.
The round got underway on Saturday afternoon with East Fremantle kicking the first six goals on the way to beating West Perth 14.17 (101) to 7.9 (51) at ATOM Stadium.
East Perth also got on the board in 2016 kicking four of the last five goals to beat Peel Thunder 15.14 (104) to 11.8 (74) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
Then on Sunday, Claremont kicked six goals to one in the first quarter and dominated just about all areas except the scoreboard against Swan Districts, and paid for it with Swans the last four goals to win 13.5 (83) to 10.17 (77) at Steel Blue Oval.
And finally Subiaco booted 12 of the first 13 goals to set up a 14.9 (93) to 4.19 (43) victory over Perth at Lathlain Park.
Following four rounds, Subiaco (4-0) sits atop the ladder ahead of the also unbeaten South Fremantle (3-0). East Fremantle (2-1) is third ahead of Peel Thunder (2-2), Claremont (1-2), West Perth (1-3), Perth (1-2), East Perth (1-3) and Swan Districts (1-3).
