When they’re ready to play, NAB AFL Auskick is the way. As Australia's leading football participation program, Auskick helps kids get active and form lasting friendships.
An intro to Australian Football and invaluable life skills.
For those based in WA, Auskick is open to all children from Pre-Primary and Year 2 (players must turn 5 by July 2024), with Junior and Youth Football aligning with the school year so players can play with their school friends.
Due to distance and population, older children can also register for Auskick in some regional areas.
And the best part is NAB AFL Auskick isn’t just for kids. Parents have plenty of options to participate.
Some call it organised chaos, we call it really good fun.
With NAB AFL Auskick, we believe game-based activities make for more active and confident kiddos. To ensure safe and fair play, we divide Auskickers by age and have optional all-girls groups. They’ll get comfortable on the footy field while laughing and learning along the way.
Sessions run only one hour per week, and there’s no need for expensive kit — Auskickers can wear whatever they’re comfortable in.
Aside from friendships, family time, and significant life skills, NAB AFL Auskickers get money-can’t-buy benefits, including a unique pack of exclusive footy goodies, an Auskick Junior Club Membership for the AFL club of their choice (including access to games!), and the chance to play halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches alongside their footy heroes.
It’s easy for kids to play and easy for parents to help at every stage.
From coordinating to getting involved to simply encouraging, families play a critical role in NAB AFL Auskick’s fun, inclusive environment. Ask your local Auskick coordinator how you can get involved.
