THE worst weather conditions of the WAFL season to date greeted the teams involved in Round 15 action on Saturday with Subiaco making it 12 straight, Peel Thunder three straight, Swan Districts two in-a-row and East Perth winning big to stay in the finals hunt.
Wet, cold and windy conditions might have limited the goal scoring and free-flowing play across the four matches on Saturday in Round 15 of the 2017 season, but it certainly didn’t minimise the drama, competitiveness or intrigue with three of the games going right down to the wire.
West Perth hosted its annual International Football Festival at HBF Arena with the terrible weather conditions meaning the crowd that has regularly turned out for the event was kept away, but the Falcons and Subiaco still put in another tough and bruising affair.
