Around the Grounds Round 8Thursday, May 24, 2018 - 9:24 AM

Round 8 of the WAFL kicks off this Saturday at Leederville Oval where East Perth take on Swan Districts in what's expected to be a very close contest. In Fremantle we see East Fremantle clash with Peel Thunder, while their Port rivals South Fremantle host Claremont. North of the river we see Perth and Subiaco battle it out at Lathlain Park. 

There will be heaps happening around the grounds including fun zones, pop-up food and beverage outlets, competitions for the whole family and don't forget to cheer on the Movie Masters Little Leaguers who play at half-time at all matches.

East Perth v Swan Districts - Leederville Oval | Saturday 1.40pm

This Saturday marks the Royals Junior Parade Day featuring a kids fun zone, face painters and player appearances from 1pm! Kids from the Ballajura Royals, Bayswater Bears, Coolbinia Bombers, Ellenbrook Dockers, Morley Bulldogs, Mt Hawthorn Cardinals, Mt Lawley Roos and the Noranda Hawks will form a ‘Guard of Honour’ for the League players to run though prior to bouncedown before taking part in in the annual parade.

East Fremantle v Peel Thunder - East Fremantle Oval | Saturday 2.15pm

The 9 Seeds cart with freshly grounded coffee and the club's Merchandise Sea Container will be open before boucedown. Don't miss happy hour which kicks off at 6pm and delicious meals will be available from the 9 Seeds cart during the post-match awards in the main social hall.

South Fremantle v Claremont - Fremantle Community Bank Oval | Saturday 2.15pm

Pop into the South Fremantle Members Bar to check out the club's merchandise! Scarfs $20, baby scarfs $10, beanies $20, and tees $30 and much more. You can also check out their online store. The bar will be open pre-game and food will be available from 10am. The menu includes beef burgers, fish and chips and the famous Fremantle Culley's pies and sausage rolls from only $4.50.

Perth v Subiaco - Lathlain Park | Saturday 2.15pm

Running high on an exhilarating Round 7 win, Perth host Subiaco at Lathlain Park this Saturday. Perth FC's PP&OA are hosting a reunion at half time of the League game in the Rovers Lounge at 12pm. All past players are encouraged to attend what will be an exciting function.
