A group of 20 WAFC Female Ambassadors were announced this week to join AFL State Female Ambassador Chelsea Randall in promoting female football throughout WA.
The inaugural 20 Ambassadors were selected from a large number of applications to support with the ongoing promotion and awareness of Female Football in WA.
WAFC Female Football Coordinator Allana Dickie was very pleased with the nominations “It wasn’t easy to select just 20 Ambassadors but we are very happy with the appointments, we were looking for passionate role models that can help promote the right messages and we are confident we selected the right people for this.”
This program will also teach valuable mentoring skills to up and coming role models, and provide opportunities for young players to develop leadership skills whilst promoting female football.
