AFL SportsReady has an exciting opportunity for Community Development Trainees to work alongside WA Football Commission development staff in the Falcons, Lions and Tigers Districts. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

AFL SportsReady currently has an exciting position available for someone wanting to pursue a career in the Australian Rules Football industry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, develop and implement Primary School footy lessons of a high quality and standard to children

Plan, design, develop and implement community based football promotion activities of a high quality and standard

To maintain updated knowledge on football and football coaching best practice technical disciplines, procedures and practices

Meet Clients expectations pertaining to the safe environment

Provide professional and technical advice and support in the preparation and delivery of football school and promotional programs and activities

Provide outstanding Customer Service to Clients, during and post coaching, ensuring children are participating in a safe and effective manner.

Keep sound record keeping (census data) of activities undertaken

Review, seek feedback and critically evaluate self and others within the school and promotional activities and programs.
