A group of 12 West Australian Football League players will attend the 2014 AFL National Draft Combine in Melbourne next week to undertake testing and interviews at Etihad Stadium from Tuesday September 30 to Friday October 3.

This will include fitness assessments, psychomotor testing, medical screening and skills tests. To attend the NAB AFL National Draft Combine, players must be nominated by at least five AFL clubs.
Another 18 WA players will attend the State Draft Combine in Perth on October 12. State Draft Combines will also be held in Melbourne (October 4) and Adelaide (October 11) for players nominated by up to four AFL clubs.
West Australians have been highly successful in breaking Draft Combine records. From the major tests conducted at the AFL Draft Combine, West Australians hold four of the eight National records.
