Swan Districts player Albert Dean was awarded the Jack Clarke Medal last night (Wednesday, September 3) as the fairest and best player in the WAFL Colts competition.
Dean, from Upper Swan Junior Football Club, averaged 25 possessions and kicked six goals in his 15 Colts games with Swan Districts this season. He also averaged 21 posessions in 4 Reserves games.
He finished the vote-count on 40 votes, two ahead of the ineligible William Michell from West Perth with 38 and five in front of Clinton Hinchcliffe, also from West Perth, on 35.
Dean also won the WAFL 200 Club Colts Coaches Award and was named in the WAFL 200 Club 2014 WAFL Colts Team of the Year.
