With the WAFL Finals fast approaching this also marks an exciting time for the Movie Masters WAFL Little League participants as they also experience WAFL finals fever by playing during half time at these games.
With over 90 Movie Masters WAFL Little League games in 2014, equating to in excess of 4500 participants, this program continues to highlight the player pathway and connect Junior players with their local WAFL club.
Movie Masters (Grand Cinemas and Ace Cinemas) continue to be proud sponsors of this program, which was started in 1970 by Mr Alex Panton, a tireless and dedicated servant to junior football in Western Australia.
Movie Masters WAFL Little League, which is now in its 44th year, gives 11 and 12 year-old “stars of tomorrow” the opportunity to play at half time in front of WAFL club crowds.
In season 2015, the Movie Masters WAFL Little League program will see its 200,000th participant pull on their local WAFL Club jumper and participate at half time of a WAFL game. A phenomenal achievement for this program that continues to receive great support from sponsors such as Grand Cinemas and Ace Cinemas.

In this year’s WAFL Grand Final the two participating WAFL clubs will have Movie Masters WAFL Little League teams represent them at half time and also will be actively involved in the Grand Final celebrations including presenting the premiership medals to the 2014 WAFL Premiers.
