Peel Thunder Football Club has reappointed senior coach Cam Shepherd for the 2015 season.
Club President John Ditchburn announced last night that the Board of Directors had unanimously endorsed Shepherd’s renewal for 2015.
“The Board and I are very confident that Cam and his assistants will continue the improvements shown with the team in 2014 and see the Club further grow in stature in the WAFL competition in 2015,” Mr Ditchburn said.
“A significant factor in the reappointment is due to key relationships he has created and managed within both the Fremantle Dockers and Peel Thunder organisations and his ability to gel the playing group as one.”
The Fremantle Dockers also endorsed the reappointment.
Shepherd said he was honoured that the Peel Thunder Football Club and the Fremantle Football Club as a collective had endorsed his reappointment for 2015.
“I am fully committed to helping the Peel Thunder Football Club achieve some significant goals and just as importantly further develop the playing group and to continue the good team environment and structures that so many have worked hard for,” he said.
“The players have been tremendous and their determination and work ethic augers well for 2015. In saying that 2014 is not over yet and we are all focused on finishing this season off well” Shepherd said.
