West Perth ball magnet Sam Swadling won his club’s fairest-and-best award - the Dominish Medal – despite only playing seven EGT WAFL Colts games, while fellow AFL Draft prospects Toby Whan and Blake Kelly were also recognised for their standout seasons.
Swadling enjoyed a breakout year at all levels, including Under-18s All-Australian selection and a league debut, to bolt up the AFL Draft boards.
He was the leading disposal getter at colts level, averaging nearly 37 disposals per game before earning a four-game stint in the senior side.
Judd Marcello, Cooper Bewick and Amon Ross finished as joint runners up.
Jack Clarke medallist Whan added Dave Ingraham Medal and Cof Mayoral Trophy to his collection as South Fremantle’s fairest-and-best player.

Claremont colts premiership co-captain Max Hansen-Knarhoi won the Nat Fyfe Award ahead of Samson Jennings-Hopkins, with West Coast father-son prospect and grand final best-on-ground winner Charlie Banning claiming the Tony Evans MVP Award.
Midfield prospect Kelly won the EJ McManus Memorial Award as Swan Districts’ best colts player ahead of fellow AFL Draft prospect Leon Kickett.
Kelly joined his older brother Luke, who took out the reserves’ fairest-and-best award, as an award winner at the Swan Medal count.
After coming second last season, Subiaco excitement Lucas Santich went one better in the Taylor Medal count on a back of a consistent campaign.
Seth Clark won Perth’s Ensor Medal ahead of defender Dale Sutherland who was rewarded with a late State Draft Combine invitation.
