Court Grammar School completed an undefeated Division One campaign to win the ninth edition of the Freo Dockers Schoolgirls Cup at Victor George Kailis Oval in Cockburn.

The Mundijong-based school knocked off 2023 champions Comet Bay College by 45 points in the decider – 8.4 (52) to 1.1 (7) – of the interschool competition for girls in Year 7, 8 and 9.

The feat was even more remarkable considering Court Grammar was only promoted to Division One this year after taking out the Division Two title last season.

Bella Godecke won the Coaches Award for Court Grammar, with Amity Patton claiming Comet Bay’s best player award.

Dockers AFLW star Aine Tighe presented Court Grammar with the trophy post-match.

In Division Two, Mandurah Catholic College were crowned champions after edging out Carine Senior High School by 18 points in the grand final – 5.4 (34) to 2.4 (16).

Coaches Awards went to Mandurah Catholic College’s Scarlet Dunlop and Carine Senior High School’s Ruby Cato.
