THE BIG WINNERS
All four winners on Saturday consolidated their positions on the ladder.

West Perth gave up the first 10 scoring shots in the opening 24 minutes of the game to fall 36 points behind Subiaco, but worked its way back into the contest to end up winning by a point to maintain their advantage in second position on the ladder.

East Perth trailed East Fremantle at every change but had a big start with the first three goals of the last quarter. However, the Sharks hit back to regain the lead before wingman Freddie Clutterbuck kicked the winning goal in the three-point victory to see the Royals remain in third spot.

Perth dominated its contest from the outset against Peel to end up winning by 50 points largely thanks to eight goals to nil in the third quarter while Swan Districts beat South Fremantle by 52 points after kicking eight goals to one in the second term.

THE BIG LOSERS
