The West Australian Football Commission is excited to announce the re-branding of its All-Abilities program Starkick.

The new look is part of the evolution of Starkick and a sign of the program’s growth.

Starkick strives to break down barriers, bridge gaps and provide opportunities for children and their families to participate in community football.

WAFC Starkick Coordinator Rob Geersen is proud of how far the program has come.

“From one club nine years ago, the Coolbinia Bombers Junior Football Club, Starkick has become a  vehicle for even more children to experience the joy of playing the greatest game in the world,” Geersen said.

Catering for boys and girls aged 5-17 years of age, Starkick now provides opportunities for hundreds of children living with disability, at 25 clubs across the state.

“When you see a community united with a common goal, that’s when the impossible become possible,” he said

“The re-branding of Starkick has been made possible due to the great support of Telethon and the wonderful work it does in the community supporting children with disabilities.”

Starkick will be part of the Telethon Family Festival outside RAC Arena this weekend.
