A handful of schools have taken part in the Bachar Houli Cup at Mineral Resources Park in Lathlain.
A total of 183 players from the Australian Islamic College (AKA AIC) Kewdale & AIC Dianella, and Al Ameen in Langford competed on the day.
The event featured Aboriginal Program Manager Phil Narkle who performed the Welcome to Country, while Aron Morse, Manager-Community Engagement from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries was also in attendance.
Representing the BHF from Melbourne were Ali Fahour and Marwan El-Houli.
After an entertaining and competitive day of matches, AIC Kewdale Primary and AIC Kewdale Secondary were crowned the winners of the Bachar Houli Cup.
The Bachar Houli Cup for Primary School Girls in Years 5 and 6 will be staged on October 25.
