A 23-player squad has been named to represent the New Holland Country State team against the State 18’s Women’s side at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
This will be the first time the State Country Women will play the State 18’s side, with the match being used as a preparation for the 2023 AFL National Championships – U18 Girls.
The contest will display the talent in WA female football from those in the metropolitan area and the regions.
The SWFL has nine representatives in the Country State squad, while the WKFL has contributed 5 players.
