WA Day Round a Family Affair at BurswoodTuesday, May 30, 2023 - 10:40 AM

THE West Australian Football Commission is giving fans the chance to participate in a range of activities at the Celebrate WA Festival.

Taking place at Burswood Park during the upcoming WA Day long weekend, the Celebrate WA Festival will include a mascot race, handball targets, monsterball inflatable goals, team posters, merchandise, along with a meet and great with players from WAFL clubs.

A footy clinic featuring kick to kick and a range of programs such as Starkick, Auskick, and Kidzoles will make this event family friendly as the WAFC recognises the WA Day Round.

Footy fans can head to the Celebrate WA Festival at Burswood Park between 10am and 5pm on Sunday and Monday, with the activations taking place between Optus Stadium and The Camfield.

The WA Day Round will be played over three days of the long weekend, with both Derbies staged on the holiday Monday.

East Fremantle hosts South Fremantle at the WACA Ground, while East Perth meets West Perth at Leederville Oval.
