In a huge boost for local football, leading WA transport and logistics company Sullivan Logistics has signed on to become a major partner of the West Australian Football Commission at senior and junior level.

Sullivan Logistics will feature prominently as a major partner during the WAFLW and WAFL finals, culminating in the WAFL Grand Final at Optus Stadium on Sunday 24 September.

They also take on naming rights for the WAFL Little League and will support regional WAFL fixtures, the first of which is scheduled for Broome on May 27.

The two-year partnership will expand in 2024 to include major partner status across the full WAFL and WAFLW seasons.

WAFC CEO Michael Roberts is excited about welcoming Sullivan Logistics into the local football family.

“Sullivan Logistics is a great addition to the WAFC partners, and a strong fit.

They’ve been a proud and parochial West Australian company for nearly 30 years, and we know Tim and his team share our vision of footy as the sport for all West Australians,” Roberts said.

Quairading-born founder and managing director Tim Sullivan is a passionate advocate for the role of football in community, in particular regional West Australians.

“We have long been supporters of footy in WA and we’re pleased to extend our support of community football to now include the broader reaches of the West Australian Football Commission.

One of our great loves is seeing kids active in sport, so with our existing partnership with Swan Districts and our new WAFC agreement, we will be looking to giveaway over 1,500 junior footballs in the community this season.

We thank the WAFC for the opportunity to be involved and we look forward to seeing community ovals filled with young footballers this winter,” Sullivan said.
