The WAFL aims to elevate game day experience for 2023 seasonFriday, March 24, 2023 - 11:10 AM

The WAFL is going digital! We're excited to introduce online ticketing and a digital version of the fan favourite, the Football Budget in 2023.

Tickets to all men’s League games will be available online from next week, giving fans better access than ever before to WAFL games at a discounted online rate. The WAFC has also been working in consultation with WAFL Clubs to enhance the game day experience in time for the launch of the 2023 season. Alongside what’s anticipated to be another great year of footy, fans will be able to look forward to more food and beverage options, entertainment and plenty of activities for kids, making it a great day out for all.

For the 2023 season, the WAFL clubs in conjunction with the WAFC have set the price of tickets for adults online at $18 (including fees) or $20 on the gate. Concession tickets will be $15 online (including fees) or $17 at the gate. Kids under the age of 16 will continue to enter for free. The decision to increase the entry fee after being fixed for over 10 years, was made after extensive research into other local and national sporting codes, with the WAFL’s entry fee now being more closely aligned to other sports. The WAFL will continue to provide a great value day out for the family.

The ticket price increase enables clubs to invest further into their facilities and game day experiences ensuring the competition remains competitive and delivers an excellent game day experience going forward.

Supporters at games will now be able to access the Footy Budget each week via a QR code which will be made visible around the grounds, with a small number of hard copies available for supporters at the gate.

So get ready for a great season of WAFL footy, don’t miss a moment – get to a game, listen on SportFM and SEN Perth, stream it on the AFL app or tune in on Channel 7 each week for the broadcast match of the round.
