Four West Australians have been selected in the 2022 NAB AFL National Championships All-Australian team.

Jed Hagan, Jedd Busslinger, Reuben Ginbey and Darcy Jones are part of the 23-player team.

East Fremantle’s Hagan is in the back pocket after averaging 17 disposals during the Championships.

Hagan showed versatility by playing in numerous positions during the Carnival.

East Perth’s Busslinger has been named at centre half back after an outstanding Carnival.

He performed strongly against Vic Metro and The Allies, averaging 22 disposals, 7 marks and five rebound 50s.

Fellow Royal Reuben Ginbey found a place in the side as a ruck rover.

Ginbey averaged 21 disposals, 10 contested possessions, 4 tackles and 3 clearances a game to establish himself as a stand-out player.

The 18-year-old won WA’s MVP Award for the Championships.

Rounding out the quartet is Swan Districts midfielder Darcy Jones, who has a place on the interchange bench.

Jones produced an eye-catching Championship, averaging 20 disposals a game and kicking 4 goals.

WAFC Talent Program Coordinator Kate Hartwell congratulated all four WA players.

“Selection in the 2022 NAB AFL National Championships U18 Boys All-Australian Team is a great achievement.

The group of West Australians selected have worked exceptionally hard and thoroughly deserve their place in the team,” Hartwell said.

Vic Metro’s Will Ashcroft is Captain of the side, while Jason Davenport, also from Vic Metro, is the coach.

The 2022 NAB AFL National Championships U18 Boys All-Australian Team features 21 players who will attend this weekend’s 2022 NAB AFL Draft Combine in Melbourne.
