FROM a 200-gamer starring to her captain leading the way to a dominant ruck performance and an impressive performance in front of goals, there were plenty of standout performers in Round 4 of the WAFLW competition for 2022.

It's once again another challenging to task to select the Round 4 Team of the Week given the number of tremendous performances across the board in the wins for East Fremantle, Claremont and Swan Districts.

The round's action got underway on Saturday evening in Mandurah and it was East Fremantle who beat Peel Thunder in the battle of undefeated teams, coming away from Lane Group Stadium with the 9.6 (60) to 7.5 (47) victory.

The other two Round 4 matches took place on Sunday afternoon beginning with Claremont scoring its third thumping win already of the 2022 season, beating West Perth 11.12 (78) to 0.0 (0) at Joondalup's Provident Financial Oval.

The last game of the round then took place at Bassendean's Steel Blue Oval and it was Swan Districts who won a second straight match by defeating Subiaco 11.6 (72) to 3.5 (23).

Those results mean that Claremont remains on top of the WAFLW ladder with a 3-1 record and a mammoth percentage of 493.2 on the back of having scored 217 points and conceding just 44 in their opening four matches of the season.

East Fremantle is the last remaining undefeated team after their win against Peel with the Sharks sitting in second spot in front of Swan Districts who have improved to a 2-2 record.
