Fisher claims 2020 Sandover MedalTuesday, September 29, 2020 - 9:48 PM

Sam Fisher from Swan Districts Football Club was named 2020 Sandover Medallist at the vote count at Crown Ballroom tonight, Tuesday September 29, with a total of 13 votes.

Fisher finished the count two votes ahead of 2014 Sandover Medallist Aaron Black (West Perth) with 11 votes and Jackson Ramsay (East Perth) on 10 votes.

Fisher averaged 26.5 possessions during the season and polled votes in six of a possible eight games, including two votes in the final round to secure the 110th Sandover Medal.

Subiaco’s Danika Pisconeri was the winner of the Dhara Kerr Medal for the fairest and best player in the WAFL Women’s competition after collecting nine votes, going back-to-back after a joint win with teammate Hayley Miller in 2019.
