A host of great individual and team performances characterised round seven of the Simply Energy WAFL Colts competition.
This round saw Subiaco (17.12.114) comprehensively beating Perth (9.5.59); Swan Districts (7.12.54) overcoming East Perth (6.3.39); East Fremantle (11.5.71) conquering Claremont (7.8.50); and South Fremantle (11.11.77) defeating Peel Thunder (8.12.60).
West Perth was the club that had the bye this weekend.

PERTH (9.5.59) vs SUBIACO (17.12.114)
Subiaco recorded its fifth victory of the 2020 Simply Energy WAFL Colts season, after beating Perth by 55 points at Mineral Resources Park.
Subiaco’s Vice Captain Lachlan Vanirsen was named Subiaco’s best, after he finished with 19 possessions, 8 marks, 4 tackles, 2 inside 50s and 3 goals.
Matthew Johnson (21 possessions, 4 marks, 3 tackles, 1 goal), Jed Kemp (21 possessions, 4 inside 50s), and Jaxon McGowan (18 possessions, 5 marks, 4 inside 50s, 1 goal) were prolific for the Lions.
Connor Faraone (16 possessions, 3 goals), Sam Broughton (3 goals), Sandon Page (14 possessions, 2 goals), Jaxon Bilchuris (14 possessions, 8 marks, 2 goals), Ethan Brunalli (1 goal), and Lachlan McKay (1 goal) were the goalkickers for Subiaco.
For Perth, Captain Zak Meloncelli competed strongly to finish with 22 possessions and 8 marks.
Oscar Morcombe (9 possessions, 2 goals), Toby Mourach Henry (15 possessions), Deklyn Grocott (19 possessions, 3 marks), Zac Sanderson (14 possessions, 6 tackles) and Tony Musa (14 possessions, 3 marks, 3 tackles) were named the Demons’ best.
EAST PERTH (6.3.39) vs SWAN DISTRICTS (7.12.54)
Swan Districts won its second consecutive game, after overcoming East Perth by 15 points at Leederville Oval.
Zane Trew won best afield honours as he led the Swans to victory with 31 possessions, 10 tackles, 5 inside 50s and 4 marks.
He was well supported by Noah Hannan (21 possessions, 5 tackles), Jehb ODonohue (19 possessions, 5 inside 50s), and Ayden Cartwright (18 possessions, 6 tackles, 1 goal).
Jaxon Saylor, Jack Green, Luke Taylor, Josh Middleton, Lawrence Tyson, and Dylan Brockbernd kicked one goal apiece for the Swans.
For East Perth, Jaylen Colegate was prominent with 25 possessions, 10 tackles, 4 marks and a goal.
He was well aided by Joshua Hubbard (22 possessions, 6 marks), Luke Lombardi (21 possessions, 4 marks, 4 tackles, 4 inside 50s), and Zac Dronow (20 possessions, 7 marks, 5 tackles).
Kaden Harbour (2 goals), Jye Amiss (2 goals), and Tom Hallett (1 goal) were the goalkickers for East Perth.
EAST FREMANTLE (11.5.71) vs CLAREMONT (7.8.50)
East Fremantle produced the upset of the round, overcoming the previously undefeated Claremont by 21 points at New Choice Homes Park.
Chapman Valley product Jack Carroll starred for the Sharks with 31 possessions, 4 marks, 4 inside 50s and 2 goals.
Jed Hagan (28 possessions, 7 marks, 4 inside 50s), Joshua Browne (24 possessions, 6 marks, 4 tackles, 4 inside 50s, 1 goal), Edward Curley (20 possessions, 9 inside 50s, 5 tackles), and Ethan Paholski (19 possessions, 5 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal) featured heavily for East Fremantle.
Jack Williams kicked two goals for the Sharks. Chris Walker, Bailey Hodge, Lachlan McGrath, Kobe McMillan, and Tom Muskarovsky each kicked one goal.
For Claremont, Jack Avery was rock solid in defence, finishing with 28 possessions, 9 marks, 3 tackles and 2 inside 50s.
Jake Willson (24 possessions, 4 tackles), Samuel Alvarez (24 possessions, 4 inside 50s), Logan Young (22 possessions, 10 tackles), Alex Pearce (22 possessions, 4 inside 50s), and Joel Western (20 possessions, 7 inside 50s, 5 marks) won plenty of the football for Claremont.
Jacquin Ciminata, Kai Harwood and Jacob Van Rooyen each kicked two goals, while Leith Fitzpatrick kicked one goal.
PEEL THUNDER (8.12.60) vs SOUTH FREMANTLE (11.11.77)
South Fremantle has kept its finals hopes alive, after defeating Peel by 17 points at David Grays Arena.
Aaron Drage led the way for the Bulldogs with 29 possessions, 8 marks, 5 inside 50s, 3 tackles and a goal.
Aiden Hall (21 possessions, 6 tackles), Solomon James (20 possessions, 14 hit-outs, 4 marks), Jaxon Bellchambers (18 possessions, 5 inside 50s), and Angus Fraser (18 possessions, 1 goal) were the leading possession winners for the Bulldogs.
Up forward, Baxter Jones kicked four goals from 11 possessions. Jacob Plunkett and Jacob Sax each kicked two goals, while Julian Hulten kicked one goal.
For Peel, Bodie Kitchingham continued his stunning season with another sensational performance that saw him finish with 25 possessions, 7 marks, 6 inside 50s and a goal.
Jack Walsh (25 possessions, 5 marks, 5 tackles, 3 inside 50s), David Yaccob (23 possessions, 5 marks, 4 inside 50s, 3 tackles), Jonathon Ietto (15 possessions, 10 tackles) and Charlie Bourke (7 possessions, 4 goals) competed strongly for the Thunder.
