A host of great individual and team performances characterised round six of the Simply Energy WAFL Colts competition.
This round saw Swan Districts (10.12.72) defeating Peel Thunder (8.8.56); Subiaco (14.8.92) beating East Perth (10.7.67); Claremont (11.10.76) winning against Perth (4.12.36); and East Fremantle (12.6.78) overcoming West Perth (8.7.55).
South Fremantle was the club that had the bye this weekend.

SWAN DISTRICTS (10.12.72) vs PEEL THUNDER (8.8.56)
Swan Districts secured its first victory of the 2020 Simply Energy WAFL Colts competition, after defeating Peel Thunder by 16 points at Steel Blue Oval.
Zane Trew led the way for the Swans with 28 possessions, 4 tackles, 3 inside 50s and a goal.
He was well aided by Ty Sears (23 possessions, 8 marks, 7 inside 50s, 3 tackles), Ayden Cartwright (20 possessions, 4 marks, 3 inside 50s, 2 tackles, 1 goal) and Joseph Salmon (20 possessions, 3 tackles, 3 inside 50s).
Up forward, Joshua Middleton (12 possessions, 5 tackles, 4 goals) and Luke Taylor (5 possessions, 4 marks, 3 goals) proved to be a formidable duo.
For Peel, David Yaccob continued his excellent season with 29 possessions, 3 marks, 3 inside 50s and 2 tackles.
Isiah Winder (28 possessions, 5 inside 50s, 3 marks, 3 tackles), Jack Walsh (22 possessions, 6 tackles, 6 inside 50s, 4 marks, 1 goal), and Bodie Kitchingham (20 possessions, 7 marks, 3 tackles, 3 inside 50s) were prominent for the Thunder.
Pierce Ferguson (2), Luke Taylor (2), Riley Vidovich (1), Roy George (1), and Zac Trigwell (1) were the goalkickers for the Thunder.
SUBIACO (14.8.92) vs EAST PERTH (10.7.67)
Subiaco registered its fourth consecutive victory after beating East Perth by 25 points at Leederville Oval.
Lachlan Vanirsen starred for the Lions with 26 possessions, 8 marks, 4 inside 50s and 3 tackles.
Jed Kemp (17 possessions, 5 marks, 1 goal), Lachlan McKay (17 possessions, 7 inside 50s), Jaxon McGowan (16 possessions, 4 marks) and Tyler Brockman (16 possessions, 5 tackles) won plenty of the football.
Up forward, Sandon Page, Jaxon Bilchuris and Sam Broughton kicked three goals apiece. Cameron Dean and Ezekiel Bolton each kicked two goals.
For the Royals, Joshua Hubbard was exceptional with a game-high 27 possessions, a game-high 11 marks, recorded an equal team-high 4 inside 50s, laid 4 tackles, and kicked 2 goals.
Jake Littleton (23 possessions, 6 marks, 4 inside 50s), Blake Cann (21 possessions, 7 marks), Jaylen Colegate (20 possessions, 6 marks, 3 inside 50s) and Luke Lombardi (19 possessions, 6 tackles, 1 goal) were the leading possession winners for East Perth.
Kaden Harbour (3 goals) and Jye Amiss (2 goals) were the multiple goalscorers for East Perth. Tomas Druzianich and Harrison Della Franca contributed one goal each.
CLAREMONT (11.10.76) vs PERTH (4.12.36)
Claremont remains undefeated in the 2020 Simply Energy WAFL Colts competition, after winning by 40 points over Perth at Revo Fitness Stadium.
Joel Western was best afield for the Tigers with 24 possessions, 8 marks, 5 inside 50s and 3 goals.
He was well supported by Logan Young (27 possessions, 12 tackles), Zac Mainwaring (24 possessions, 8 marks, 6 inside 50s, 4 tackles, 1 goal), Alex Pearce (23 possessions, 8 tackles), Jack Avery (23 possessions), Jake Willson (21 possessions) and Samuel Alvarez (21 possessions, 7 tackles).
Kieran Gowdie (3 goals) and Jacob Van Rooyen (2 goals) and Jacquin Ciminata (1 goal) were the goalkickers for Claremont.
Perth’s Conor McPartland continued his stunning season with 31 possessions, 14 tackles, 5 marks and 4 inside 50s.
Zak Meloncelli (23 possessions, 7 marks, 7 tackles, 4 inside 50s), Deklyn Grocott (21 possessions, 7 tackles, 5 marks), Jaiden Hunter (18 possessions, 28 hit-outs) and Oscar Morcombe (16 possessions, 2 goals) were the Demons’ best.
WEST PERTH (8.7.55) vs EAST FREMANTLE (12.6.78)
East Fremantle caused the upset of the round when they overcame the previously undefeated West Perth by 23 points at Provident Financial Oval.
Geraldton product Jack Carroll led the charge for the Sharks with 26 possessions, 3 marks, 3 inside 50s and a goal.
Brandon Walker (23 possessions, 9 marks, 4 inside 50s), Jed Hagan (20 possessions, 1 goal), Edward Curley (19 possessions, 6 tackles) and Joshua Browne (18 possessions, 1 goal) were exceptional for East Fremantle.
Up forward, Jack Williams was dynamic with 10 possessions, 5 marks and 4 goals. Chris Walker, Ethan Paholski, Lachlan McGrath, Kobe McMillan and Richard Bartlett each kicked one goal.
Heath Chapman was West Perth’s best with 25 possessions, 9 marks, 3 tackles and 3 inside 50s.
Brady Alvaro (20 possessions, 7 tackles), Rohan Scurria (18 possessions, 3 marks), Lochlan Paton (18 possessions, 1 goal) competed strongly for the Falcons.
Cooper Blackburn kicked two goals, while Jack Downsborough, and Zane Robins each kicked one goal.
