WEST Perth, Swan Districts, East Fremantle and Perth all recorded WAFL Colts Super Round victories across the weekend at Steel Blue Oval and New Choice Homes Park.
The WAFL Colts Super Round got underway on Saturday at Steel Blue Oval.
Those two matches saw West Perth defeat Claremont 8.7 (55) to 5.10 (40) and then Swan Districts defeated East Perth 10.8 (68) to 8.4 (52).
The round then picked up on Sunday at East Fremantle's New Choice Homes Park with the last two games of the weekend in the colts.
That began with East Fremantle producing an impressive performance to defeat Subiaco 12.8 (80) to 3.5 (23) before Perth prevailed 9.12 (66) to 6.9 (45) against South Fremantle.
WEST PERTH 8.7 (55) defeated CLAREMONT 5.10 (40)
West Perth's colts got their first win on the board on Saturday at Steel Blue Oval keeping Claremont winless after two rounds with the Falcons claiming a 15-point victory.
West Perth's colts began the season with a 17-point loss in Mandurah to Peel while the Tigers had lost by two points to East Fremantle leaving both looking to bounce back when they clashed at the Bassendean venue on Saturday.
The Falcons dominated the opening quarter kicking four goals to just one behind from the Tigers. It was more of the same in the second term with West Perth kicking three more goals to one to take a 37-point advantage into half-time.
Claremont did manage to have a better second half outscoring West Perth four goals to one after half-time but the Falcons still managed to win 8.7 (55) to 5.10 (40).
Ewan Brazier kicked two goals for West Perth from four kicks with Lachlan Scurria, Ben Johnson, Callum Johnson, Tyron Hindmarsh, Zak Patterson and Michael Mallard the other goal scorers.
Jaxon Prior produced an outstanding performance for the Falcons made up of 34 possessions, eight marks and three tackles.
There were plenty more standout showings too from West Perth players with Hindmarsh delivering 29 disposals and eight tackles, Koopah Todd 28 touches, eight marks and seven inside 50s, Ben Johnson 27 possessions and seven marks, and Heath Chapman 20 disposals, nine marks and five tackles.
Patterson also did well in the ruck with 12 possessions, 23 hit outs, three marks and three inside-50 entries.
Claremont's goals came courtesy of Jack Buller, Joel Western, Callum Jamieson, Charlie Malone and Max Minear.
Liam Henry gathered 26 possessions for Claremont, Jack Buller 23, Leno Thomas 21, Ronin O'Connor 21 and Jye Clark 18.
EAST PERTH 8.4 (52) lost to SWAN DISTRICTS 10.8 (68)
Swan Districts had to come from behind but the Black Ducks kicked four goals to one in the last quarter to score a 16-point colts win against East Perth at Steel Blue Oval on Saturday.
While the league fixture between the two teams was taking place at Leederville Oval, the colts action was back at Bassendean between two sides who scored Round 1 victories, against Subiaco and South Fremantle respectively.
East Perth made a flying start to the contest with seven shots to one in the first quarter, and four goals to one, to head into quarter-time leading by 21 points.
It was then three goals apiece in the second quarter with the Royals still leading by 21 points at half-time.
But Swans were able to turn the tide in the third quarter with the only two goals while holding the Royals scoreless.
The Black Ducks maintained that momentum in the last term kicking four goals to one with Swan Districts taking out the 10.8 (68) to 8.4 (52) win against East Perth.
Ayden Cartwright booted three goals for Swan Districts from 12 possessions.
Kade Wallrodt, fresh off kicking the winning goal in Round 1, racked up 33 possessions, five marks, five inside-50 entries and three tackles for Swans on Saturday.
Zane Trew also gathered 26 disposals, Brenton Hilton 22, Ethan Nordahl 21, Ty Sears 21, Ashley Brockbernd 19, Jake Pasini 18 and Seb Bright 17 to go with 10 tackles and a goal.
Sam Van Diemen kicked two goals for East Perth with Sebit Kuek and Josh Ladhams also booting two majors.
Harley Sparks collected 28 disposals for the Royals with Cooper Sparks finishing with 26 touches, Adam Boules 20, Kane Hughes 18, Blake East 15 and Reuben Pasalich 14 to go with seven inside-50 entries.
EAST FREMANTLE 12.8 (80) defeated SUBIACO 3.5 (23)
The big winners in Round 2 of the Colts took place on Sunday with East Fremantle beating reigning premiers Subiaco by 57 points at New Choice Homes Park.
East Fremantle got to play on home turf on Sunday as part of the WAFL Colts Super Round and the Sharks produced a tremendous performance to remain undefeated to start the season and keep the Lions winless.
Coming off a Round 1 win against Claremont, East Fremantle produced a dominant opening quarter on Sunday kicking four goals in the first quarter while holding Subiaco scores.
The Sharks still led by 22 points at half-time before kicking another six goals to nil in the third term to lead by 58 points at three quarter-time before ending up winning 12.8 (80) to 3.5 (23).
Michael Wright, Luke Jackson and Trey Ruscoe all kicked two goals apiece for East Fremantle while each of them had tremendous all-round games.
Wright also had 24 possessions, six tackles and five marks while Jackson added 17 touches, six marks and 24 hit outs, and Ruscoe 23 disposals, six inside 50s, three marks and three tackles.
Trent Rivers also racked up 29 possessions for the Sharks, Lachlan Taylor 24, Chad Warner 23, Jai Jackson 21 and Tom Wallis 18.

Tristan Hobley collected 29 possessions for Subiaco, Ben Golding 25, Nick Martin 24, Abraham Clinch 20 and Jacob Peletier 17.
SOUTH FREMANTLE 6.9 (45) lost to PERTH 9.12 (66)
Perth's colts opened its 2019 season on a winning note beating South Fremantle by 21 points at New Choice Homes Park on Sunday afternoon.
As part of the WAFL Colts Super Round, the game took place on Sunday afternoon at East Fremantle Oval to conclude the Round 2 action.
South Fremantle was coming off a last gasp Round 1 loss to Swan Districts while Perth had the bye while its league side took on the West Coast Eagles.
South Fremantle started well with three goals to two in the first term to lead by three points at quarter-time before the Demons dominated the second quarter with six shots to two, but managed just the one goal to go into half-time leading narrowly by six points.
The Demons were able to pull away further in the third stanza with three goals to one, and then finished the job with three more goals to two in the last quarter to win 9.12 (66) to 6.9 (45).
Logan McDonald kicked three goals for Perth's colts to go with 14 possessions, three marks and three tackles.
Kaden Elliott, Oscar Morcombe and Cain Evans all kicked two goals apiece as well.
Nathan O'Driscoll amassed 32 possessions for the Demons with Simon Hayward finishing with 23 disposals, Deven Robertson 22, Zac Sanderson 21, Regan Clarke 20, Lachlan Fraser 20 and Mitch McLlheney 19.
Shannon Neale kicked three goals for South Fremantle from four kicks and three marks.
Jack Musika racked up 26 possessions for the Bulldogs to go with seven marks and five tackles.
Manfred Kelly also gathered 24 disposals, Brodie Plunkett 18, Jacob Sax 17 and George Wessels 16 along with nine tackles.
Solomon James and Nash Miller worked hard in the ruck combining for 49 hit outs.
