ROUND 11 of the 2018 WAFL season sees all four matches take place on Saturday afternoon with Peel Thunder, Claremont and Perth all with a chance to further close in on a position inside the top five.
All four matches in Round 11 on Saturday will have implications for finals positions just over the halfway mark of the 2018 season.
With East Perth facing a big task to consolidate fifth position, the door could open for Peel Thunder, Claremont and Perth to put the pressure further on the Royals and indeed the fourth placed Swan Districts who have the bye.
All four games on Saturday should be fascinating match ups including a battle of the Leederville Oval co-tenants between East Perth and Subiaco. Last time they met was on Good Friday with the Lions hammering the Royals by 118 points.
South Fremantle and Peel Thunder will do battle for the first time in 2018 when they meet at Fremantle Community Bank Oval with the Bulldogs trying to bounce back from losing two of their past three matches while the Thunder are attempting to make it three wins on the trot.
Claremont and West Perth also meet at Claremont Oval in their second meeting of 2018 with the Falcons having won by three goals in Round 1. The Tigers are looking for consecutive wins for the first time in 2018 as the Falcons try to bounce back from losing to Peel last Saturday.
Then there is the Channel 7 televised match of Round 11 as the bottom two teams on the ladder take on one another for the second time in 2018 with Perth playing East Fremantle at Lathlain Park.
The Demons could win back-to-back games for the first time since Rounds 14-16, 2016, while the Sharks are just looking to be competitive after a 103-point loss to Subiaco.
