CLAREMONT knocked off the reserves-leading South Fremantle in Round 21 action on Saturday to all but lock away second position for themselves while East Fremantle further consolidated top spot in the colts with a strong win against West Perth.

Round 21 reserves results saw Swan Districts beat East Perth 16.8 (104) to 8.8 (56) at Leederville Oval, Peel Thunder defeat Perth 16.8 (104) to 13.12 (90) at Bendigo Bank Stadium, Claremont down South Fremantle 8.6 (54) to 7.11 (53) at Claremont Oval and West Perth prevail 10.6 (66) to 9.10 (64) against East Fremantle at HBF Arena.

With two rounds of the season remaining, South Fremantle (15-4) is guaranteed of finishing on top of the reserves ladder.

Claremont (12-6) is also looking safe in second ahead of Perth (10-9), Subiaco (9-9) and Swan Districts (9-9).

East Fremantle (8-10) sits sixth in front of Peel Thunder (7-11), West Perth (6-12) and East Perth (6-12).

The Round 21 colts action saw Swan Districts beat East Perth 10.11 (71) to 8.6 (54), Perth down Peel Thunder 12.9 (81) to 9.9 (63), South Fremantle defeat Claremont 5.7 (37) to 4.10 (34), and East Fremantle win 11.13 (79) to 4.6 (30) against West Perth.

East Fremantle (13-5) remains clear on top of the colts ladder in front of Swan Districts (11-1-6), Claremont (11-7) and Peel Thunder (10-1-7).

East Perth (9-9) is now a game and percentage clear in fifth position ahead of Subiaco (8-10), South Fremantle (8-11), West Perth (7-11) and Perth (4-15).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
Starting with the reserves contest at Leederville Oval, Swan Districts scored an impressive 48-point victory against East Perth. As a result of the win, Swans sit in fifth position on the ladder a game and percentage ahead of East Fremantle.

Steven Wityk didn’t get the call up to provide a forward target in the league side despite the absence of Ricky Cary, but he put his hand up to come in this week by kicking six goals from 19 possessions and seven marks against his old team.

Usual defender Laurence Grescos also kicked two goals for Swans to go with 26 disposals and eight marks.

Tom Smirk and Brody Sutton also kicked two goals while Tobe Watson gathered 24 touches, Chad Daniels 22, Jacob Ness 21, Jackson Slater 19 and David McKay 17. Troy Yukich had 48 hit outs in the ruck.

Kristian Caporn kicked three goals for East Perth with Tarir Bayok racking up 24 possessions, Joshua Hewett 19, Tom Hodgson 19, Mitch Dobson 17, Nathan Eaton 17, Jordan Browne 16 and Ben Miller 16.

Claremont's reserves managed to come away with a thrilling one-point victory against South Fremantle at Claremont Oval, but the Bulldogs remain three games clear on top of the ladder with two rounds and one game remaining.

Jack Richardson kicked three goals for Claremont to go with 19 possessions, six marks and five tackles while Lachlan Martinis amassed 31 touches and 11 marks.

Jacob Sideris gathered 28 disposals for the Tigers, Tom Ledger 27, Matthew Palfrey 26, Tom Shanahan 21, Morgan Davies 20, Aden Wilkins 19 and Max Bentley 18.

Josh Collard and Seaton Thompson kicked two goals apiece for South Fremantle.

Jake Florenca showed how desperately he wants back in the Bulldogs league side with 33 possessions, 11 marks, 11 tackles and six inside-50 entries.

Collard also had 25 disposals for South Fremantle, Kyle Russell 25, Chris Ah Siu 19, Daniel Cabassi 19 and Jesse Musika 19.

Josh Branchi had 13 touches, five marks and 25 hit outs in the ruck with support from Jake Solomon who had 11 touches, four marks and 12 hit outs.

West Perth's reserves then held on for a nail-biting two-point victory against East Fremantle at HBF Arena.

Mitch Antonio was a dominant presence for the Falcons with 33 possessions, 11 marks and four goals. Tom O'Brien also booted two goals.

Conal Lynch picked up 24 disposals for West Perth, Dean Munns 20, Joel Horgan 18, Broderick Walton 18, Dylan Campbell 17, Angus Allen 16, Josh Hatch 15, Baylee James 15, Rudy Riddoch 15 and ruckman Chris Keunen 15 to go with 42 hit outs.

Daniel Parker, Alex Montauban and Drew Blurton kicked two goals apiece for East Fremantle.

Tom Omodei racked up 31 possessions for the Sharks, Sean Henson 31, Ben Harding 28, Jye Clements 25, Gabriell Parfitt 20, Liam Strnadica 20, Leon Pearton 19 and Oliver Parish 19.

Peel Thunder's reserves scored a hard-earned 14-point victory against Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

Brad McGowan kicked three goals for Peel from 16 possessions and seven marks. Nick Merritt also kicked two goals as did Calvin Thorne.

Leroy Jetta had three kicks, two handpasses, two marks, three tackles and a goal in his first game back from injury.

James Kirby also had 20 possessions and 19 tackles for Peel along with nine inside-50 entries and a goal.

Lennon Marlin booted six goals for Perth and Callum Papertalk three.

Callum Marshall gathered 20 possessions for the Demons, Joseph Ugle 17, Jarrad Irons 16 and Dakota Baldwin-Wright 52 hit outs.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
Swan Districts' colts started the day well at Leederville Oval beating East Perth by 17 points. The win sees Swans move up into second position on the colts ladder.

Aidan Clarke was impressive for Swans in the colts kicking four goals from 15 possessions and six marks.

Atem Deng and Patrick Farrant also booted two goals each for the black-and-whites.

Lochie Huntley amassed 30 possessions for Swans, Greg Ottaviano 27, Callum Garcia 20, Riley Garcia 19 and ruckman Oskar Matthews 10 to go with 32 hit outs.

Kye Willcocks finished with 21 possessions, seven marks and two goals for East Perth with Christian Ameduri also delivering 17 disposals, five marks and two goals.

Matthew Young also gathered 25 disposals for the Royals, Kane La Fontaine-Roberts 18, Harley Stack 17, Mitchell Gupanis 15, Thomas Vellios 15 and Jedd Edwards 13 to go with 26 hit outs.

South Fremantle's colts continued its impressive finish to the season as well. Even though the Bulldogs look like just falling short of playing finals, they managed to upset Claremont by three points at Claremont Oval on Saturday.

Thomas Weston and Luke Moore booted two goals apiece for the Bulldogs.

Matthew Ward gathered 21 possessions, Regan Spooner 21, Zane Sumich 21, Toby McQuilkin 20, Jack Musika 19, Alex Cabassi 18, Ryan Burrows 18, Michael Redman 18, Bruno Faulkner 17, Glen Byron 17 and James Russell 17.

South Fremantle's big men were also impressive with Jacob Warne finishing with 17 touches, five marks and 28 hit outs, and Jonathon Frampton 18 possessions and eight hit outs.

Jack Buller, Cooper Nitschke, Nicholas Allan and Shaquille Morton were Claremont's goalkickers.

Jack Lewsey had 24 disposals for the Tigers, Nitschke 22, Declan McNamara 17, Edward Aitken 16 and Lewis Daisley 15.

The day's action began at HBF Arena with the colts contest that saw the league-leading East Fremantle beat West Perth by 49 points.

Timothy Bockman had a big game for East Fremantle kicking five goals to go with 23 possessions. Josh Ritchie and Dillon O'Reilly kicked two goals each.

Jayden Quill amassed 30 possessions for the Sharks, Milan Murdock 20, Samuel Lewis 20, Ritchie 19, Nicholas Patat 16, Dane Jenzen 16, Chris Scott 16, Zachary Jackson 16 and Nicholas Watson 14 along with 34 hit outs.

Dylan Yem kicked two goals for West Perth to go with 17 possessions, five marks and four tackles.

Daniel Rowe gathered 22 disposals for the Falcons, Thomas Boyes 18, Tyrese Miller 18, Thomas Medhat 16 and Nathan Murray 16.

Perth's colts came away with an 18-point victory against Peel Thunder at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

Lachlan Fraser kicked four goals for Perth, Luke English three and Bailey Smith two.

Sydney Stack collected 21 possessions for the Demons, Blake Little 20, English 17, Maverick Hamilton 16 and Zac Casey 15.

Lachlan Cullen kicked three goals for Peel and Tyson Powell two.

Jackson Perry gathered 23 disposals for the Royals, Kyle Havelberg 21, Lachlan Riley 19 and Brynn Osborne 18.
