Coastal Titans have set their sights on a record eighth Mundella WA Women’s Football League Premiership after progressing to the Grand Final with a narrow win over reigning Premiers Swan Districts.
Coastal Titans 5.10 (40) defeated Swan Districts 5.5 (35) in the 2nd Semi Final to book their place in the Grand Final on Sunday, August 20.
Aimee Schmidt, pictured, and Jacqueline Toth kicked two goals each for Coastal Titans while Dana Hooker added one.
Swan Districts were lead by two goals each from Stephanie Cain and Ashley Sharp and a single from Kellie Gibson.
Swan Districts have a second chance in the Preliminary Final this Sunday, August 13, against East Fremantle, who eliminated Claremont with a convincing win in the 1st Semi Final.
Swan Districts have also earned a place in the Reserves and Rogers Cup Grand Finals.
