EAST Perth and South Fremantle split thrilling WAFL Reserves and Colts matches at Leederville Oval on Saturday while Perth scored an important Reserves win and East Fremantle remains atop the Colts despite having the Round 18 bye.

The three reserves matches on Saturday saw South Fremantle defeat East Perth 12.7 (79) to 10.16 (76) at Leederville Oval, Perth down West Perth 14.12 (96) to 12.6 (78) at Lathlain Park and Subiaco beat Peel Thunder 13.10 (88) to 12.7 (79) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

South Fremantle (13-3) moved three games clear on top of the reserves with the second placed Claremont (10-5) having the bye.

Perth (10-7) moved clear in third spot with its win on Saturday while Subiaco (9-7) is fourth and East Fremantle (7-8) remains fifth.

Swan Districts (6-9) is in sixth spot ahead of Peel Thunder (6-10), West Perth (5-10) and (4-11).

Then in the three REDiMED Colts matches on Saturday, East Perth beat South Fremantle 10.8 (68) to 9.13 (67), West Perth defeated Perth 12.13 (85) to 8.2 (50) and Peel Thunder downed Subiaco 14.8 (92) to 8.8 (56).

Despite having the bye, East Fremantle (11-4) remains on top of the ladder in the colts with Peel Thunder (10-1-5) returning to second spot in front of the third placed Claremont (10-5).

Swan Districts (8-1-6) is fourth with Subiaco (8-8) rounding out the top five with East Perth (7-8) sixth in front of West Perth (7-8), South Fremantle (5-11) and Perth (3-14).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
The reserves clash on Saturday also took place at Leederville Oval between East Perth and South Fremantle, and it was the Bulldogs getting the three-point win, beating the Royals by three points.

Mitch Dzelebdzic had three kicks and kicked three goals for South Fremantle with Brandon Donaldson and Jesse Musika also kicking two majors.

Jake Florenca responded to his demotion racking up 36 possessions for the Bulldogs with Jarrod Parry gathering 28 disposals, Kyle Russell 20, Daniel Cabassi 19, Jarrod Garlett 18, Josh Collard 18, Musika 18 and Caleb Datson 17.

Ajang Ajang and Willie Rioli kicked two goals each for East Perth with Mitch Dobson outstanding compiling 40 possessions, nine marks and nine inside-50 entries.

Nelson Waite also gathered 22 disposals, Mark Longbottom 21, Joshua Hewett 19, Nathan Arbon 19, Jake Balestra 18, Kane Hadden 17 and Harry Blanch 17.

Perth might have lost the colts and league contests to West Perth at Lathlain Park, but managed an 18-point win in the reserves.

Lennon Marlin kicked three goals for Perth to go with 21 possessions and 12 marks. Callum Papertalk also kicked three goals for the Demons, Laine Wilkins two and Arnold Punch two.

Jake Schleicher amassed 34 possessions for the Demons, Jayden Johnstone 29, Joseph Ugle 25, Shaun Smith 21, Callum Marshall 18 and Thomas Gooch 18.

Mitch Antonio kicked three goals for West Perth with Zac Guadagnin collecting 22 possessions, Angus Allen 20, Broderick Walton 19, Connor West 17 and Rudy Riddoch 17 to go with seven tackles and a goal.

Oscar Allen played his first game in the reserves with 13 possessions, five marks and a goal while Matt Guadagnin had nine disposals in the opening half.

Subiaco's reserves took out a nine-point victory over Peel Thunder at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

Ray Daniels and Dylan Nelson booted three goals apiece for Subiaco with Dylan Clarke and Shannon Nelson kicking two each.

Matt Bogensperger compiled 33 possessions for the Lions, Daniel Leach 27, Brayden Ainsworth 22, Jacob Miller 20, Dylan Clarke 19 and Chad Barns 16 with ruckman Tim Sutherland finishing with 14 disposals, 30 hit outs and a goal.

Brett Milward and Nick Merritt booted three goals each for Peel with Jake Dowding and Mervyn Bennell kicking two apiece.

Luke Strnadica had another good performance in the ruck with 19 touches, seven marks, 42 hit outs and two goals.

Michael Humble picked up 28 disposals, James Kirby 26, Corey Morris 23, Chris Wrigley 18, Calvin Thorne 16 and Jacob Perry 16.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
The colts contest between East Perth and South Fremantle took place at Leederville Oval with the league teams in Busselton. It was a thriller with the Royals ending up beating the Bulldogs by a solitary point.

Aaron Redhead kicked three goals for East Perth with Jarrod Hamer-Mathew, Kye Willcocks and Christian Ameduri booting two apiece.

Matthew Young racked up 30 possessions for the Royals, Eric Bashemule 22, Mckenzie Nix 21, Ameduri 17, Willcocks 17, Tim Walker 16 and Redhead 11 to go with 19 hit outs.

Luke Moore kicked three goals for the Bulldogs while Regan Spooner gathered 32 possessions, Glenn Byron 24, Matthew Ward 23, Ryan Burrows 21, Bruno Faulkner 20, Jonathon Frampton 18 and Jacob Warne 16 to go with seven marks and 22 hit outs.

West Perth's colts began the day in impressive fashion at Lathlain Park beating Perth by 35 points.

Kurt Monaghan and Lane Sedgwick kicked three goals apiece for West Perth.

Dylan Yem racked up 27 possessions for the Falcons, Jamie Dowen 21, Bailey Chalmers 17, Lachlan Sherriffs 17, Thomas Medhat 17, Alec Johnson 16 and ruckman Slade Hawkins 13 to go with 21 hit outs.

Simon Hayward and Trent Simpson kicked three goals each for Perth.

Luke English racked up 30 possessions for the Demons, Lachlan Fraser 23, Zac Casey 20, Caelen Bennell 20, Simon Hayward 19 and Samuel Hobbs 18.

Peel Thunder then took on Subiaco at Bendigo Bank Stadium and came away with a 36-point victory.

Jarrad Fazioli booted three goals for Peel with Alex Cohen, Kyle Havelberg and Michael Randall all kicking two each.

Jackson Perry amassed 25 possessions for the Thunder, Randall 21, Durak Tucker 19, Lachlan Riley 18, Jordan Boullineau 17, Jakeb Shine 16, Tyson Powell 16, Havelberg 16 and Billy Chambers 13 to go with 25 hit outs and five marks.

Christian Martin and Zane Shellabear-Healy kicked two goals apiece for Subiaco with Liam Hickmott gathering 27 possessions, Luke Foley 21, Nicholas Baroni 20, Kyron Hayden 17, Tristan Hobley 16 and Wil Hickmott 15.
