SOUTH Fremantle's reserves finished strongly on Saturday to maintain its lead atop the ladder while East Fremantle also continues to hold off Claremont in the colts with the Tigers in second spot in both minor grades.

Three of the four reserves matches took place on Saturday with Perth defeating East Fremantle 12.14 (86) to 10.8 (68) at East Fremantle Oval, Peel Thunder beating East Perth 8.14 (62) to 8.13 (61) at Leederville Oval and South Fremantle prevailing 8.11 (59) to 4.10 (34) at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

Then on Sunday at Leederville Oval, Claremont defeated Subiaco 14.15 (99) to 9.8 (62).

Following Round 17 of the season, South Fremantle (12-3) remains clear on top of the reserves ladder ahead of Claremont (10-5).

Perth (9-7), Subiaco (8-7) and East Fremantle (7-8) round out the top five in front of Swan Districts (6-9), Peel Thunder (6-9), West Perth (5-9) and East Perth (4-10).

The three REDiMED Colts matches on Saturday saw East Fremantle defeat Perth 14.14 (98) to 4.0 (24), East Perth beat Peel Thunder 9.9 (63) to 7.14 (56) and Swan Districts down South Fremantle 12.9 (81) to 6.8 (44).

Then on Sunday, Claremont beat Subiaco 11.13 (79) to 7.8 (50) back at Leederville Oval.

East Fremantle (11-4) is still a game clear on top of the colts ladder following that big win on Saturday.

Claremont (10-5) sits second ahead of Peel Thunder (9-1-5), Swan Districts (8-1-6) and Subiaco (8-7).

East Perth (6-8) is sixth in front of West Perth (6-8), South Fremantle (5-10) and Perth (3-13).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
Perth consolidated its finals place in the reserves with a solid 18-point victory against East Fremantle at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

Brennan Stack kicked four goals for Perth from 18 possessions and five marks with Joseph Ugle chipping in with two majors and Kurtis Chester 23 disposals and two goals.

Liam McKenna gathered 30 possessions for the Demons, Jayden Johnstone 22 and Taran Etto 17 to go with 13 tackles.

A Montauban and Tyler Sorrell booted three goals each for East Fremantle with Nathan Fahey adding two from 13 possessions and 10 marks.

Ben Harding racked up 33 disposals for the Sharks, Carl Green 24, Josh Cuneo 22, Ambrose Ryan 21, Miles Franklin 19 and Joel Kalajzic 18.

It was a thriller at Leederville Oval between East Perth and Peel in the reserves with the Thunder prevailing by the solitary point.

Zachary Beckman and Brett Milward booted two goals each for Peel.

Calvin Thorne compiled 31 possessions for the Thunder, Michael Humble 30, James Kirby 24, Jacob Perry 21, Josh McMahon 19 and Luke Strnadica 18 to go with seven marks, 35 hit outs and a goal.

Mitch Dobson racked up 39 possessions for the East Perth, Nathan Arbon 26, Kane Hadden 25, Nelson Waite 25, Josh Hewett 22 and Matthew Blackley 20.

Then in the reserves at Fremantle Community Bank Oval, the ladder-leading South Fremantle kicked four goals to one in the last quarter to come away with the 25-point victory.

Matthew Gundry, Mitch Dzelebdzic and Zac Strom all kicked two goals each for South Fremantle with the latter adding 20 possessions and five marks.

Tom Vandeleur amassed 34 possessions for the Bulldogs, Matthew Parker 26, Brandon Donaldson 25, Chad Pearson 24, Josh Collard 22, Kyle Russell 19, Jarrod Parry 18 and Andre Coutinho 18.

Roderick Manton, Brody Sutton, Giles Dent and Jordan Bill were Swan Districts' goal scorers.

Steven Wityk stood up in the absence of ruckman Troy Yukich to have 17 possessions and 25 hit outs.

Josh Cipro gathered 22 disposals for Swans, Levi Ridley 22, David McKay 22, Logan Hughes 21, Brandon Erceg 17, Tobe Watson 17 and Jacob Ness 17.

The round concluded on Sunday at Leederville Oval with Claremont beating Subiaco by 37 points.

Eddie Simpson responded to his demotion at Claremont by kicking six goals to go with 16 disposals and seven marks.

Kaiden Gilbert also kicked three goals for the Tigers and Dylan Holt two while Bailey Rogers picked up 27 disposals, Ben Rushforth 22, Jake Murphy 22, Jacob Sideris 21, Josh Bennett 21, Luke Maddock 20, Oliver Eastland 20 and Tom Lawrence 19.

Luke Halligan booted three goals for Subiaco and Dylan Nelson two.

Daniel Leach gathered 26 possessions for the Lions, Brayden Ainsworth 25, Ryan Wade 22, Jacob Miller 21, Ray Daniels 18 and James Eccles 17.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
East Fremantle's ladder-leading colts team put in a dominant performance at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday beating Perth by 74 points.

Josh Ritchie and Drew Blurton kicked three goals each for East Fremantle, and two apiece to Nelson Aranda, Dillon O'Reilly and Dwayne Nevill two.

Jayden Quill gathered 24 possessions for the Sharks, Milan Murdock 23, Samuel Lewis 23, Nicholas Patat 21, Timothy Bockman 21, Thomas Eastaugh 20, Dylan Williams 19 and Aranda 17.

Elijah Taylor kicked two of Perth's four goals with Simon Hayward booting the other two. Hayward also finished with 13 possessions and 12 tackles.

Luke English amassed 26 disposals for the Demons, Ian Hill 22, Ethan Hansen 20, Zac Casey 20, Maverick Hamilton 16 and Nyika John 16.

East Perth's colts had a tight battle with Peel right throughout the contest but ended up prevailing by seven points at Leederville Oval.

Eric Bashemule kicked two goals to go with 14 possessions for East Perth.

Jaxon Cahill gathered 20 disposals for the Royals, Christian Ameduri 20, Matthew Young 19, Damon Greaves 19, Aaron Redhead 17 and Harley Stack 17.

Lachlan Mitchell compiled 25 possessions and nine tackles for Peel with Michael Randall collecting 22 touches, Kyle Havelberg 21, Lachlan Riley 20, Jakeb Shine 18 and Durak Tucker 17.

The day began at Fremantle Community Bank Oval with the colts contest that saw Swan Districts defeat South Fremantle by 37 points.

Joseph Hinder and Patrick Farrant kicked four goals each for Swan Districts with Jarred Cameron and Darryl Dawson booting two apiece.

Callum Garcia compiled 26 possessions for Swans, Gregory Ottaviano 21, Mitchell Bain 21, Jack O'Sullivan 20 and Graydon Wilson 18.

Thomas Weston and Luke Moore kicked two goals each for South Fremantle.

Ryan Burrows racked up 28 possessions for the Bulldogs, Regan Spooner 27, Kyle Hamersley 18, Enrique Aiken-Featherstone 18, Bruno Faulkner 17 and Brodie Plunkett 17.

Then on Sunday at Leederville Oval, Claremont opened proceedings beating Subiaco by 29 points.

Nathan Pearce, Callan England and Tyron Smallwood kicked two goals apiece for Claremont.

Jake Patmore amassed 42 possessions for the Tigers, Rylie Morgan 33, England 29, Cooper Nitschke 26, Lewis Davis 22 (nine marks, 15 hit outs) and Jack Monaghan 21.

Christian Martin kicked three of Subiaco's seven goals for the game.

Liam Hickmott finished with 32 possessions and 13 tackles for Subiaco while Koby Fullgrabe gathered 21 disposals, Kyron Hayden 21, Nicholas Baroni 19 and Jack Zappelli 17.
