A total of $48,500 will be donated to grassroots football clubs following Round 14 of the Toyota AFL Premiership Season thanks to Toyota’s Good for Footy Program.
For each of the 97 goals kicked during the four Round 14 matches broadcast by Channel 7, Toyota is donating $500 to the AFL player’s nominated grassroots football club.
This includes $6000 to West Australian football clubs.
Since 2008, Toyota and the Toyota Dealer Network have contributed more than $4 million to local football clubs around Australia through the Toyota Good for Footy program.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said Toyota’s contribution to grassroots football couldn’t be underestimated.
“It’s wonderful that our premier partner Toyota, through their Good for Footy program, is making a direct impact to grassroots football clubs with a donation of $48,500,” Mr McLachlan said.
