FANS at Domain Stadium over the next two weekends are encouraged to visit the Subi Oval Memories booth at Gate 9 to help commemorate the final season of AFL at the venue by sharing their greatest memories of the ground.
The project is being undertaken in a partnership between the West Australian Football Commission, City of Subiaco and Lotterywest to pay tribute to Subiaco Oval’s significance to the City of Subiaco and the WA community.
Fans who share their memories at the Gate 9 memory booth, which is at the eastern end of the ground, can also enter the draw to win four premium tickets including a food and beverage voucher to either West Coast or Fremantle’s final AFL home and away game of the 2017 season at Domain Stadium.
The memory booth will be set up for the West Coast Eagles game on June 24 and the Fremantle game on July 2.
Open days are also planned at Subiaco Oval between July and September – the first of which will be held during the school holidays on July 11.
The open days will also include access to the memory booth and behind-the-scenes heritage tours of the stadium.
Memories can also be submitted in the form of a photo, video or written submission by clicking here.
