THERE were again plenty of impressive performances in Round 7 on Saturday as Peel Thunder moved to the top of the REDiMED Colts while Perth continued to impress in the reserves.

The three reserves matches on Saturday in Round 7 saw Claremont beat Swan Districts in a thriller 11.8 (74) to 11.7 (73) at Steel Blue Oval while Perth defeated West Perth 19.9 (123) to 10.11 (71) at HBF Arena and Peel Thunder downed East Perth 18.6 (114) to 8.14 (62) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

South Fremantle (5-1) remains on top of the reserves ladder but now only percentage ahead of Perth (5-1). West Perth (3-3) is third ahead of Subiaco (3-3) and Claremont (3-3).

Peel Thunder (3-3) is in sixth spot followed by East Fremantle (2-3), East Perth (2-5) and Swan Districts (1-5).

Then in the REDiMED Colts on Saturday, Swan Districts defeated Claremont 11.10 (76) to 7.8 (50), Perth downed West Perth 12.6 (78) to 6.6 (42) and Peel Thunder won a tight one over East Perth, 12.12 (84) to 12.9 (81).

Following seven rounds, Peel Thunder (5-1) are now just percentage ahead of Swan Districts (5-1) on top of the ladder ahead of East Fremantle (4-1) who have a game in hand and a superior percentage to both.

Claremont (3-3) sits in fourth position and Subiaco (3-3) fifth ahead of West Perth (3-3), East Perth (2-5), Perth (1-5) and South Fremantle (1-5).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
It was a thrilling reserves contest on Saturday at Steel Blue Oval with Claremont withstanding a Swan Districts comeback in the last quarter to hold on for a one-point victory.

Eddie Simpson and Corey Mitchell kicked three goals each for Claremont with Brett Wilson also booting two majors.

Lachlan Martinis racked up 34 possessions for the Tigers, Jacob Sideris 27, Ben Musitano 25, Josh Bennett 24, Anthony Morabito 23, Aden Wilkins 22, Ben Higgs 22, Bailey Bennett 21, Nick Winmar 21 and Ben Rushforth 19.

Steven Wityk kicked five goals for Swan Districts from 10 kicks and six marks while Brody Sutton kicked four majors from 12 kicks and eight marks.

Brandon Erceg racked up 33 possessions for Swans, Josh Cipro 25, Jackson Slater 25, Ethan Maguire 24, Jacob Ness 23, Freddie Clutterbuck 22, Levi Ridley 22, Logan Hughes 22, Jesse Manton 21, Tobe Watson 19 and Jacob Coniglio 18.

Perth's reserves scored a 52-point victory over West Perth at HBF Arena.

Callum Walley kicked four goals for Perth while Marshall Jones, Blake Johnson, Callum Papertalk and Nelson Ansey all kicked two majors apiece as well.

Kurtis Chester gathered 34 possessions for the Demons, Josh Burke 25, Julian Jacobs 22, Callum Marshall 22, Chris Leonard 20, Jayden Johnstone 19 and Walley 19.

Joel Bennett kicked three goals for West Perth while Brayden Antonio had another good performance with two goals from 22 possessions.

Mitch Peirce picked up another 27 disposals for the Falcons, Conal Lynch 20, Tom O'Brien 18, Kael Coleman 17 and Jordan Mills 17.

Peel Thunder's reserves won its third game of the season beating East Perth by 52 points at Bendigo Bank Stadium. 

Brett Milward kicked six goals for the Thunder with Brad McGowan also kicking four and Nick Merritt two.

Brad Walsh gathered 23 possessions for Peel, Chris Wrigley 19, Michael Humble 18 and Calvin Thorne 16.

Jake Dowding fought hard in the ruck to finish with 17 disposals, five marks and 29 hit outs.

Campbell Abbott kicked two goals for East Perth while Jordan Snadden finished with 21 possessions, Mitch Dobson 21, Kane Hadden 18 and Callum Hart 18.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
Swan Districts improved to a 5-1 record in the REDiMED Colts this season with a 26-point victory over Claremont at Steel Blue Oval on Saturday.

Patrick Italiano and Lachlan Ebsary kicked three goals each for Swans while Tyler Bennett booted two.

Samuel Taylor picked up 25 possessions for the black-and-whites, Jack O'Sullivan 25, William Reidy 24, Blake Pescud 22, Greg Humphries 20, Lochie Huntley 18 and Atem Deng 18.

Oskar Matthews finished with 10 disposals and 23 hit outs.

Jack Lewsey gathered 27 disposals for Claremont while Jake Patmore finished with 26 touches, Jack Blaauw 24, Lewis Daisley 22, Addison Dew 20, Javan McKenzie 18 and Beau Ewen 18.

Perth's colts then won its first game of the season beating West Perth by 36 points at HBF Arena.

Luke English kicked three goals for the Demons with Tynam McNamara and Sydney Stack booting two each.

English also amassed 34 possessions while Caelen Bennell finished with 31 disposals, Joseph Ugle 30, Damien Bennell 21, Stack 20, Ethan Hansen 20 and Thomas Gooch 20.

Connor West kicked two of West Perth's six goals for the game to go with 16 possessions.

Nathan Murray gathered 21 disposals for the Falcons, Dylan Yem 20, Josh Hunter 19, Tyrese Miller 18 and Bailey Chalmers 18.

Then at Bendigo Bank Stadium, Peel Thunder moved to the top of the ladder with a three-point win over East Perth despite the Royals booting five goals to one in the last quarter.

Damon Cramer kicked four goals for Peel with Lee Chapman also booting three majors.

Jackson Perry gathered 22 possessions for the Thunder, Jordan Boullineau 22, Kyle Havelberg 19, Lachlan Riley 18, Bradley Oldfield 17, Zachary Moody 16, Jakeb Shine 16, Michael Randall 16 and Lachlan Mitchell 16.

Liam Martin and Jacob Oakes booted two goals apiece for East Perth.

Nathan Arbon compiled 22 possessions for the Royals, Christian Ameduri 17, Brandon Starcevich 17, Mitchell Gupanis 17, Jake Dugan 15 and Harley Stack 15.
