THERE were three games in the WAFL on Saturday with West Perth winning a third straight, East Perth a second in-a-row and Swan Districts bouncing back from its first loss of the season.
There were three games in Round 7 and all took place on Saturday afternoon with West Perth defeating Perth 15.19 (109) to 14.6 (90) at HBF Arena.
It was a day for the exciting forwards at either end with Rudy Riddoch booting a career-best six goals for West Perth while Brennan Stack also had his best day out booting seven majors for Perth.
Swan Districts bounced back from its first loss of the season last week to defeat Claremont 15.9 (99) to 13.4 (82) at Steel Blue Oval.
Ricky Cary kicked five goals in the win for the black-and-whites while the Tigers slumped to a third straight defeat.
The final game of the round took place at Bendigo Bank Stadium with East Perth winning a second straight match beating Peel Thunder 11.10 (76) to 5.13 (43).
It's a fourth successive defeat for the reigning premiers after the Thunder started the season with two wins.
South Fremantle, Subiaco and East Fremantle all had the Round 7 bye.
