IT was a mixture of day and night fixtures across the Reserves and REDiMED Colts in Round 3 with plenty of standout performances across both grades.

The reserves action on Saturday saw Perth defeat Claremont at Lathlain Park 16.12 (108) to 13.11 (89).

South Fremantle scored an emphatic 21.15 (141) to 10.6 (66) victory over Peel Thunder while Swan Districts beat East Perth 10.14 (74) to 9.7 (61) and West Perth defeated Subiaco 13.13 (91) to 11.9 (75).

In the REDiMED Colts, Round 3 began on Friday night at HBF Arena with West Perth beating Subiaco in a thriller 10.11 (71) to 9.12 (66).

Then on Saturday, Claremont defeated Perth 14.13 (97) to 4.12 (36), Peel Thunder beat South Fremantle 16.7 (103) to 5.5 (35) and Swan Districts downed East Perth 10.13 (73) to 9.10 (64).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
The reserves action for Round 3 got underway at Lathlain Park on Saturday with Perth beating Claremont by 19 points.

Callum Papertalk, Blake Johnson and Marshall Jones all kicked three goals each for the Demons with Mitchell Henderson and Guy Piggott adding two goals apiece.

Julian Jacobs also amassed 24 possessions for Perth, Callum Marshall 21, Taran Etto 21, Johnson 18, Jayden Johnstone 18, Mitch Browne 17 and Cody Kickett 17.

Jack Bradshaw was terrific for Claremont with 33 possessions, 14 marks, eight tackles and two goals with Oliver Eastland booting three goals, Eddie Simpson two, Ben Higgs two and Matthew Palfrey two.

John Williams gathered 25 disposals for the Tigers, Tom Shanahan 23, Gerrick Weedon 23, Bailey Rogers 22, Maximilian Bentley 19 and Morgan Davies 18. Ruckman Jeremy Goddard had 37 hit outs.

Swan Districts' reserves came away with a 13-point victory over East Perth at Leederville Oval on Saturday.

Jackson Slater put in a strong performance against his former team with 22 possessions, eight marks and three goals for Swan Districts.

Brody Sutton and Jesse Manton both kicked two goals each for the black-and-whites.

Levi Ridley gathered 27 disposals for Swans, Jacob Ness 25, Ethan Maguire 21, Jacob Coniglio 21, Ben Whitsed 20, Tobe Watson 20 and Ben Holman 18.

Julian Ameduri had a big afternoon for the Royals with 29 disposals and two goals while Paddy Brophy also kicked two majors from 20 touches.

Nelson Waite compiled 27 touches, Kane Hadden 21, Dwayn Bolton 20, Mitch Lague 19, Stan Wright 19 and Jarrod Best 18.

Then in the reserves match held after the league clash at Bendigo Bank Stadium, South Fremantle scored a thumping 21.15 (141) to 10.6 (66) victory over Peel Thunder.

Tyson Pickett kicked six goals for the Bulldogs from 14 possessions and 10 tackles. Mitch Dzelebdzic also kicked five goals and Tom Vandeleur three while Daniel Cabassi added two.

Jarrod Parry continued his inspiring return from a third knee reconstruction with 31 possessions while Jacob Dragovich gathered 26 disposals, Chris Luff 24, Daniel Burke 22, Matthew parker 19, Vandeleur 19, Jake Florenca 18 and Daniel Roy-McGregor 18.

Brock Higgins dominated the ruck for the Bulldogs with 23 possessions, five marks and 41 hit outs.

Corey Ugle, James Kirby, Cameron Hayden and Brett Milward all kicked two goals apiece for Peel.

Josh Mathers picked up 22 possessions for the Thunder, Haydn Matthews 19 and Callan Eddy 19.

Round 3 of the reserves concluded on Saturday night at HBF Arena with West Perth coming from behind at three quarter-time to kick four goals to one in the last quarter to win by 16 points.

Shane Bonney had his best game in Falcons colours with 22 possessions, six marks and three goals while Rudy Riddoch played his first match for West Perth from Swan Districts and had 21 disposals, seven marks and two goals.
