PEEL Thunder and Swan Districts remained unbeaten with WAFL Round 2 victories on Saturday while Subiaco got its first win on the board as well overcoming Perth.
Three of the four WAFL Round 2 matches took place on Saturday with Peel Thunder unfurling its premiership flag and scoring a seventh straight victory beating East Fremantle 19.12 (126) to 5.10 (40) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
Swan Districts also won its second straight match to open 2017 beating South Fremantle 13.7 (85) to 8.16 (64) at Steel Blue Oval.
The twilight fixture took place at Leederville Oval with Subiaco coming from behind at half-time to beat Perth 13.12 (90) to 10.7 (67).
The round concluded on Sunday with West Perth beating East Perth 14.15 (99) to 12.6 (78) to claim the Polly Farmer Shield.
