THE WAFL's top three teams kept winning in Round 19 on Saturday as Subiaco, South Fremantle and West Perth moved further clear of the pack and with Peel Thunder and East Fremantle losing the battle remains on in earnest for fourth and fifth position.

Subiaco remained two wins and percentage clear on top of the WAFL ladder beating the bottom placed Swan Districts 15.18 (108) to 5.4 (34) at Medibank Stadium.

South Fremantle stayed in second position on percentage and with a game in hand by beating East Fremantle 14.16 (100) to 10.10 (70) at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

West Perth moved two games clear in third position and just percentage out of second with a solid 13.13 (91) to 6.9 (45) victory over Perth at HBF Arena.

Claremont then won its fifth game of 2016 putting in a dominant performance to beat Peel Thunder 17.10 (112) to 10.7 (67) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

The day began at Fremantle Community Bank Oval and South Fremantle finally won a home derby beating East Fremantle by 30 points to retain the Uittenbroek-Ciccotosto Cup.

East Fremantle did kick the game's first two goals but South Fremantle then kicked nine of the next 11 to lead by 34 points early in the third term.

The Sharks did fight back with the next five goals to get within three points but the Bulldogs responded with the opening four majors of the final term to set up the win that breaks their three-game losing run.

It also makes them the first team to win a home Fremantle derby in 14 attempts as they won at the port over the Sharks for the first time since Round 24, 2011.

While the win keeps South Fremantle in second spot, East Fremantle remains sixth at 8-9 a game behind Peel and East Perth.

Haiden Schloithe was outstanding on return from a foot injury for South Fremantle finishing with 31 possessions, eight marks, seven inside 50s and a goal. Tim Kelly also regained some terrific form with 28 disposals, six tackles and a goal.

Mason Shaw and Blaine Johnson kicked three goals apiece for the Bulldogs while Ben Saunders booted two.

Jacob Dragovich also had 22 disposals for South Fremantle, Shane Hockey 21, Ashton Hams 20, Ryan Cook 20, Steven Verrier 17 and Blaine Johnson 17.

Jacob Green played the best game of his 11-game league career kicking four goals for East Fremantle while Jamie McNamara had 24 possessions, Jayden Schofield 24, Cameron Eardley 22, Dion Anthony 22, George Hampson 21, Liam Anthony 21 and Jesse Adamini 20.

Ruckman James Bristow worked hard for 15 disposals and 37 hit outs.

West Perth kicked four goals to nil in the opening quarter to set up an eventual 46-point win over Perth at HBF Arena to remain in touch for a top two finish.

Max Duffy and Michael Lourey both kicked four goals each for West Perth with Joel Leeson adding two in the final quarter against his former side.

Shane Nelson compiled another 40 possessions for West Perth with Aaron Black finishing with 32 disposals, Blake Wilhelm 29, Aidan Lynch 28, Jay van Berlo 26 and Steven Browne 19.

Chris Keunen had a better showing in the ruck with 17 disposals and 19 hit outs while Dean Munns did another tremendous tagging job holding Perth midfielder Julian Jacobs to a career-low six touches.

Spencer White kicked three goals for Perth and Sam Garstone two while Michael Sinclair continued his outstanding form with another 36 disposals and 13 marks.

Clint Jones had 35 possessions for the Demons in his 100th WAFL game while Liam McKenna finished with 30 touches, Cody Leggett 27, Aidan Tropiano 21 and Rowan Brookes 20.

Claremont scored the upset of the afternoon starting off with six goals to nil in the first quarter on the way to a 45-point win over Peel in Mandurah.

After the big first quarter, Claremont kicked another six goals to two with the advantage of the breeze in the third term to lead by 61 points at the last change before Peel booted five goals to three in the last quarter.

Jake Waterman had an outstanding debut with the 18-year-old kicking five goals from 15 possessions for Claremont while Darcy Cameron booted three majors, Jared Hardisty two and Zac Langdon two.

Jye Bolton again dominated through the midfield overcoming his concussion from last week's loss to East Perth to rack up another 36 possessions.

Ryan Liam also had 26 touches for the Tigers, Hardisty 25, Haydn Busher 25, Matthew Davies 24, Tom Ledger 24 and Tom Shanahan 22.

Michael Apeness kicked five goals for Peel with Anthony Morabito chiming in with three.

Connor Blakely gathered 31 possessions for the Thunder, Clancee Pearce 31, Rory O'Brien 25, Nick Suban 22, Josh Deluca 21, Andrew Haydon 20, Josh Mathers 20, Ethan Hughes 19 and captain Gerald Ugle 18.

In the battle of top against bottom at Medibank Stadium, Subiaco proved too good for Swan Districts winning by 74 points on the back of five goals to one in the first half, and 10 goals to four in the second.

Hamish Shepheard returned to the outright lead in the Bernie Naylor Medal race kicking six goals for Subiaco with Clancy Wheeler also booting three and Wayde Twomey two against his former team to go with 23 possessions and eight marks.

Greg Broughton compiled a team-high 31 disposals for the Lions with Kyal Horsley gathering 30 touches, Leigh Kitchin 28, Craig Hoskins 24, Jordan Lockyer 22, Chris Phelan 20 and Will Fetherstonhaugh 20.

Griffin Logue kicked two of Swan Districts' five goals while Matt Riggio gathered 34 possessions, Adam Faulkner 30, Jesse Turner 24, Tony Notte 21, Justin Simpson 20 and Brandon Erceg 19 to go with 10 marks.
