WAFC Concussion Research SurveySunday, August 27, 2017 - 9:45 AM

The West Australian Football Commission (WAFC), in collaboration with The University of Sydney, invite you to take part in a research study about sport-related concussion that will help to improve our understanding of concussion recognition and management in those persons most closely associated with players, as well as players themselves.

This knowledge will be assessed with a questionnaire, and supports previous research undertaken in this area by the WAFC.

We are looking for coaches, sport trainers, physiotherapists, umpires, team managers, teachers, parents/guardians and players (16 years and over) to take part in the questionnaire. The findings will help to ensure players’ long-term health and welfare in sport and inform decisions which will make all sport safer and more enjoyable for all to participate.

Click here if you are interested to participate.

When you begin the questionnaire, to assist us please begin your participant ID with WA.

Example: John Smith, born 01/05/1980, Mother’s name is Elizabeth Smith

ID= WA01JOEL  (WA=Western Australia, 01= day of the month John was born in, JO=First 2 letters of John’s name, EL= First 2 letters of John’s Mother’s name.)
