The West Australian Football Commission, the controlling body of football in Western Australia, is seeking expressions of interest from persons wishing to be considered for appointment to the Perth District Football Development Council (DFDC) as Chairman.

This critical Volunteer appointment oversees the strategic development of football across the Perth District as well as playing an important role as a member of the DFDC Council of Chairs.

The Chairman will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operation and profile of the DFDC, whilst utilising the significant investments of the WAFC within the District and Football landscape to achieve these strategic objectives.

PDFDC - Chair - Position Description

The Chairman will lead the DFDC in order to grow the game at all levels. They will also ensure a football development plan is formulated for the District through consultative collaboration with, and input from, all stakeholders who deliver certain operational objectives within the District.

The Chairperson will oversee the implementation of the plan in partnership with the WAFC, its Management and Operations team along with its broad base of partners, sponsors and stakeholders.

The position of DFDC Chairperson will be appointed by the WAFC for a period of 2 years in line with the Perth DFDC Constitution.
