SUBIACO'S colts are the last remaining team in the 2018 competition as well after beating Swan Districts on Saturday while East Fremantle, West Perth and Perth also recorded Round 3 victories.

Three of the four Round 3 colts contests took place on Saturday afternoon highlighted by the top-of-the-table clash between unbeaten teams, Subiaco and Swan Districts.

It would be Subiaco who proved too strong going on to record the 12.6 (78) to 5.12 (42) victory at Leederville Oval.

East Fremantle got its first win on the board in 2018 by beating Claremont 15.8 (98) to 9.8 (62) at Claremont Oval.

Also on Saturday afternoon, West Perth's colts claimed a thriller 8.9 (57) to 8.6 (54) against South Fremantle at HBF Arena.

The last game of Round 3 took place Sunday at Bendigo Bank Stadium with Perth defeating Peel Thunder 15.12 (102) to 8.9 (57).

After three rounds of the 2018 season, Subiaco (3-0) sits clear on top of the colts ladder ahead of Perth (2-1), West Perth (2-1) and Swan Districts (2-1).

Peel Thunder (1-2) sits fifth ahead of Claremont (1-1), East Fremantle (1-2), South Fremantle (0-2) and East Perth (0-2).

SUBIACO v SWAN DISTRICTS

The colts contest at Leederville Oval on Saturday was also a battle of the undefeated teams with Subiaco beating Swan Districts 12.6 (78) to 5.12 (42).

Subiaco's colts are now the last remaining undefeated side and they had to come from 14 points behind at half-time against Swans to do so. 

The Lions kicked the only nine goals of the second half to claim the 36-point victory.

Atem Deng, Mitchell Bain, Ryan Bennell, Patrick Farrant and Lachlan Ebsary were the goal kickers for Swan Districts.

Bain also had 19 possessions for Swans, Jarred Cameron 19, Graydon Wilson 18 (10 tackles) and Jackson Beck 17 (nine marks, seven tackles).

CLAREMONT v EAST FREMANTLE

Claremont and East Fremantle opened the day at Claremont Oval with the colts encounter with the Sharks getting on through the second half to come away with the 15.8 (98) to 9.8 (62) victory.

Claremont had its chances to open up a lead in the first quarter but just managed two goals from eight shots with East Fremantle kicking three straight to leave scores level.

East Fremantle then led by a point at half-time before pulling away in the second half with five goals to two in the third term, and four to two in the last to end up winning by 36 points.

Trey Ruscoe delivered a huge performance for East Fremantle kicking six goals to go with 20 possessions and seven tackles. Cody Smith also kicked three goals.

Trent Rivers also gathered 21 disposals for the Sharks, Tom Joyce 20, Corey Robinson 18 and Dane Janzen 17.

Rylie Morgan kicked two goals for Claremont to go with 28 possessions, seven tackles and five inside-50 entries.

Tyron Smallwood also collected 28 possessions for the Tigers, Jack Monaghan 22, Tom Baldwin 19, Jordan 17 and Lachlan Southern 16. Angus Longmire had 11 touches, five tackles and 33 hit outs in the ruck.

WEST PERTH v SOUTH FREMANTLE

The colts contest took place at HBF Arena on Saturday afternoon with West Perth winning another nail-biter, beating South Fremantle 8.9 (57) to 8.6 (54).

South Fremantle's colts kicked away in the second quarter with the only four goals to lead by 25 points at half-time.

But by West Perth had closed the gap and levelled scores before the Falcons kicked three goals to two in the last term to win by three points.

Nathan Murray delivered a best on ground performance for West Perth with 31 possessions, five inside-50 entries and two goals.

Bailey Chalmers compiled 27 possessions for the Falcons, Alec Johnson 26, Koopah Todd 17, Brayden Templeton 17 and ruckman Eamon Gilbert 17 to go with 22 hit outs.

Lachlan Feeney kicked four goals for South Fremantle and Eric Botha two.

Kyle Hamersley racked up 36 possessions for the Bulldogs, James Russell 20, Tom Blechynden 20, Jack Musika 18, Manfred Kelly 18 and Michael Redman 17 to go with seven tackles.

PEEL THUNDER v PERTH

Peel Thunder and Perth went into their clash on Sunday at Bendigo Bank Stadium with a win and a loss apiece from the first two rounds, but it was the Demons who came away with the 15.12 (102) to 8.9 (57) victory.

It was an impressive performance by Perth's colts to come away with the 45-point victory in Mandurah and it started with a two-goal to nil opening quarter.

But Peel hit back hard in the second quarter with six goals to three to have scores all tied up at the main break.

It was all the Demons from there, though, with them kicking six goals to one in the third quarter and four to one in the last to end up winning well by 45 points.

Luke English was a dominant factor again for Perth kicking three goals to go with 25 possessions, five marks and five tackles.

Zac Casey and Bailey Smith kicked three goals apiece, and Ian Hill two to go with 28 disposals and five tackles.

Deven Robertson compiled 34 possessions for Perth, Sydney Stack 23, Simon Hayward 22, Blake Little 18, Regan Clarke 18 and Maverick Hamilton 16.

Tyson Powell and Kilian Rawson kicked two goals each for Peel with Jarrad Fazioli finishing with 22 disposals, Lachlan Riley 21, Jarvis Pina 18, Jake Howes 17 and Andrew Butler 17.
