SOUTH Fremantle remains clear on top of the WAFL Reserves despite a loss to Perth on Sunday while Peel Thunder returned to the top of the REDiMED Colts by beating East Fremantle on Saturday.

The three reserves matches on Saturday saw West Perth defeat Claremont 17.11 (113) to 4.5 (29) at Claremont Oval, Peel Thunder beat East Fremantle 15.7 (97) to 13.12 (90) at East Fremantle Oval and Swan Districts down East Perth 17.12 (114) to 10.6 (66) at Steel Blue Oval.

Then on Sunday, Perth defeated South Fremantle 13.15 (93) to 6.10 (46) at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

Despite the loss, South Fremantle (10-3) remains two games clear on top of the reserves ladder ahead of Claremont (8-4) and Perth (8-5).

Subiaco (6-6) and East Fremantle (5-7) round out the top five ahead of West Perth (5-7), Swan Districts (5-7), East Perth (4-8) and Peel Thunder (4-8).

The REDiMED Colts action on Saturday saw West Perth beat Claremont 9.6 (60) to 8.8 (56), Peel Thunder down East Fremantle 7.10 (52) to 3.7 (25) and East Perth prevail over Swan Districts 17.7 (109) to 8.3 (51).

And lastly on Sunday morning, South Fremantle scored a big 16.17 (113) to 4.2 (26) victory over Perth.

The win for Peel (8-1-3) takes them back to the top of the colts ladder ahead of East Fremantle (8-4) and Claremont (7-5). Swan Districts (6-1-5) is fourth and Subiaco (6-6) fifth.

West Perth (6-6) is in sixth position ahead of East Perth (5-7), South Fremantle (5-8) and Perth (3-10).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
West Perth's reserves came away with a thumping 84-point victory over Claremont at Claremont Oval on Saturday.

Mitch Antonio kicked four goals for the Falcons, Brayden Antonio three, Sam Rotham two and Conal Lynch two.

Conal Lynch also had 33 possessions, Aidan Lynch 29, Josh Romanelli 19, Brayden Antonio 19 and Mitch Antonio 18.

Chris Keunen was a dominant presence in the ruck finishing the game with 29 disposals, four marks, five tackles, 30 hit outs, six inside-50 entries and a goal to close in on his first league appearance of 2017.

Jack Richardson kicked two of Claremont's four goals while Lachlan Martinis racked up 30 possessions, Charles Le Fanu 21, Jacob Sideris 19, Luke Maddock 18 and Josh Bennett 17.

Jeremy Goddard finished with 14 possessions, 36 hit outs and a goal in the ruck but captain Jake Murphy again limped off injured before half-time.

Peel scored a thrilling seven-point win over East Fremantle despite the Sharks having 112 more disposals and 39 more marks. The inefficiency and slow ball movement that has marred their league team was evident with one less inside-50 entry from all that possession.

Brett Milward put his hand up for a league recall with five goals. Matthew Dean also kicked two goals for the Thunder.

Brad Walsh collected 22 possessions for the Thunder, James Kirby 20 and Chris Wrigley 16 to go with eight marks, four inside-50 entries and a goal.

Dion Anthony put in a huge performance for the Sharks with 41 possessions, nine marks and five goals. Daniel Parker, Stuart Egan and Zac McCarrey all kicked two goals apiece for East Fremantle as well.

Sean Henson gathered 31 disposals, Tom Omodei 29, Joel Kalajzic 28, Miles Franklin 27, James Harrold 25, Jye Clements 18 and Michael Cronan 35 hit outs.

Swan Districts led into its strong league showing on Saturday with an impressive 48-point reserves triumph over East Perth.

Brody Sutton kicked four goals for Swans, Chad Daniels three and Josh Kirkup three.

Laurence Grescos amassed 27 possessions, Ethan Maguire 27, Josh Cipro 22, David McKay 21, Daniels 20, Josh Power 20, Logan Hughes 19 and Ben McGillivray 18. Troy Yukich also had 49 hit outs in the ruck.

Kristian Caporn booted three goals for East Perth and Asher Samelko two. 

Mitch Dobson racked up 37 possessions for the Royals, Alex Di Placido 26, Ben Miller 24, Tom Hodgson 22 and Nelson Waite 20.

Perth's reserves did put in an impressive showing on Sunday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval beating the league-leading South Fremantle by 47 points.

Callum Wally kicked three goals for Perth while Brennan Stack, Kristian Cary and Marshall Jones all booted two.

Kurtis Chester racked up 33 possessions, Taran Etto 25 (13 tackles), Brent Edmonds 22, Daniel Horan 22, Callum Marshall 22, Andries Mercer 20, Josh Burke 20 and Marshall Jones 19.

Mitch Dzelebdzic, Daniel Cabassi, Matthew Gundry, Tom Vandeleur, Matthew Parker and Chad Pearson combined for South Fremantle's six goals.

Jacob Dragovich racked up 33 possessions for the Bulldogs, Jarrod Parry 28, Pearson 24, Dzelebdzic 20, Daniel Burke 19 and Vandeleur 17.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
West Perth's colts began the day at Claremont Oval with a four-point victory over Claremont on Saturday.

Tyrese Miller and Jack Burke kicked two goals each for the Falcons.

Baylee James picked up 28 possessions for West Perth, Bailey Chalmers 22, Fillimone Muavou 17, Miller 17 and ruckman Slade Hawkins 12 to go with 39 hit outs.

Wil Powell kicked two goals for Claremont with Jack Blaauw gathering 23 possessions, Declan McNamara 23, Jack Lewsey 22, Brock Ward 18 and Fraser House 18.

Ruckman Lewis Davis also did well for 15 disposals, five marks, 22 hit outs and a goal.

Peel returned to top spot in the colts with a 27-point victory over East Fremantle at East Fremantle Oval.

Michael Stevens kicked two goals for the Thunder with Jake Howes gathering 23 possessions, James Sturrock 20, Kyle Havelberg 20, Michael Randall 20 and Jakeb Shine 19.

Billy Chambers had 13 disposals and 25 hit outs in the ruck for Peel.

Kyle D'Antoine, Joshua Ritchie and Jayden Quill kicked the goals for East Fremantle.

Liam Rajanayagam collected 26 possessions for the Sharks, Dylan Williams 24, D'Antoine 21, Quill 19 and Tom Eastaugh 18 to go with five tackles.

East Perth's colts started off things at Steel Blue Oval on Saturday with an impressive 58-point victory over Swan Districts.

Mitchell Gupanis had a big game for East Perth with four goals to go with 25 possessions and eight marks.

Tom Vellios, Chris White, Udomsup Quartermaine and Mitchell Tenardi kicked two goals each for the Royals.

Nathan Arbon compiled 24 disposals for East Perth, Jake Balestra 23, Sam East 22, Vellios 20, Jake Dugan 20, Eric Bashemule 18, Harley Stack 16, Nathan Introvigne 16, Curtis Maxwell 16 and Jethro Namnik 16 to go with 13 hit outs.

Daniel Sharp kicked three goals for Swan Districts while Jack O'Sullivan amassed 23 possessions, Greg Ottaviano 19, Greg Humphries 18, Lochie Huntley 18 and William Reidy 18.

South Fremantle's colts began the day on Sunday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval with a thumping 87-point victory over Perth.

Luke Moore booted seven goals for the Bulldogs from 23 possessions and seven marks. Ryan Burrows also kicked four goals to go with 20 disposals and five marks.

Bruno Faulkner collected 22 possessions for South Fremantle to go with eight marks and seven tackles. 

Brodee Knight also gathered 21 touches, Glenn Byron 21, Matthew Ward 20 and Alex Cabassi 19 with Jacob Warne finishing with 14 touches and 39 hit outs in the ruck.
